The Manager intends to implement the investment strategy of Starhill Global REIT in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Investment portfolio primarily comprising prime real estate used mainly for retail and/or office purposes (including investments in real estate-related assets and/or other related value-enhancing assets or instruments)
- Investments will be made in Singapore and overseas markets depending on investment opportunities and conditions
- Investments will generally be for the long-term
The key objectives of the Manager are to deliver regular and stable distributions to unitholders and to achieve long-term growth in net asset value per unit in order to provide unitholders with a competitive rate of return for their investment. Plans for achieving these objectives include:
- Actively managing Starhill Global REIT's property portfolio to maximise returns;
- Selectively acquiring properties that meet the Manager's investment criteria; and
- Employing appropriate debt and equity financing strategies
